Norungolo is a native of Greenville,
South Carolina, who enjoys digital photography, but works
primarily with 35MM cameras to capture images that "speak
to her." As a photojournalist, her work has been featured
at Nelson Fine Art Center in Johnson City, Tennessee, and
in Patina on the Alley, Seneca, South Carolina. Most recently,
her piece "Safe Journey: Charleston Alley at Dusk"
was featured in the Autumn 2005 issue of Sandlapper: The
Magazine of South Carolina.

Lyons is originally from the Washington, D.C.
area and has recently relocated to the Greenville area.
While not limiting herself to any one particular subject
or area of Photography, as you will see in all of her work,
she has recently taken an interest in portrait photography
and plans to open her own studio within the next few months.

Wits End Poetry is looking for emerging artists willing to donate
a work of art in all mediums including sculpture, wood working,
photography, and folk art for an art auction to be held at The
Handlebar on October 20th 2005 as part of the Wits End Poetry
3rd Anniversary Extravaganza starring poet Jeff McDaniel.
Participating artists works will be promoted through a
showcase page on Wits End Poetry's website beginning September
15th, and the page will include contact information and a brief
biography of each artist, as well as a picture of their work and
a link.
This
is a great opportunity for emerging artists to promote themselves
and reach new audiences for their work.
Wits End Poetry anticipates that over 200 people will
attend the event, with the potential for up to 500 to attend.
Wits End Poetry's website receives over 500 hits per month and
is listed on all major search engines. Each artist's work will
remain up on the Wits End Poetry artist showcase web page for
one year. Each donated
piece of artwork will be displayed at the Handlebar during the
event and auctioned off on stage. Each participating artist
will receive 4 free tickets to the October 20th event.
The
art auction is raising money to start a pilot outreach program
for at-risk teens, which will focus on building confidence,
improving reading fluency, engaging teens in positive activities,
and expressing complex emotions through writing.

OCTOBER 1ST: Interested artists should E-mail
OR MAIL a picture of a sample work of their art, with the artist's
biography, contact information, webpage, and suggested reserve
bid for artwork to Kimberly Simms, PO

ARTISTS MAY ALSO SIMPLY BRING THEIR ART WITH THEIR 50 WORD BIO
TO ANY SUNDAY NIGHT WITS END EVENT. ALL ARTISTS WILL
BE ACCEPTED. (Please no graphically sexual or violent work.)
In addition to being showcased online, showcased at the event,
and receiving 4 complimentary tickets, artists will receive
a letter of confirmation confirming the tax deductible donation.

Wits End Poetry is
