Keep poems to one page.
Look at your line breaks.
Use strong imagery over abstracts.
Avoid cliches.
Turn off your grammar check.
Turn on your spell check.
Submit 3-5 poems, bundle thematically.
Enclose a SASE and cover letter.
Put contact information on each poem.
